changing anything that may need altered for final casting step 4

sealing the clay with shellac flakes and clear varnish mixture and firming the base with modelling clay step 5

building the head and the under cut is form step 3

making a rubber Silicon poring mould and thickening it up with tinthics for the deep under cut and then when dry reinforcing it with modelling clay step 5

I know this is not tile work but this material was also used to demonstrate the strength of jesmonite in terms of making shop signs to have cut into tile work a bit like a big insert can be made from it. It can be polished smooth or it can be kept rough textured to give the effect of sand stone.
