Excellent Tanking Product! The kit comprises of :- - Gloves - Tanking coating (2.5kg) - 10M of tape - 2 x Internal corner pieces. The system works really well and IMHO one of the best paint on membranes on the market. Arguably the best I have used. No primer is required, you simply paint on straight out of the tub. The tape is provided for joints and abutments and is bedded onto the paste and then painted over. The tape is really good as it’s flexible, other tapes are less flexible so creasing can occur. This doesn’t happen with the Tilemaster tape. It flexes round walls nicely whether they are out of true or if the installer hasn’t got things quite right. The paste sticks really well and there appears to be a very fine grit in the paste which leaves a key to the wall once dry. There is no edge peeling like other brands. This is a true one coat system. The paste is really thick. One thing that must be noted is that if you just slap the paste on in a carefree manner then once the coat is dry you might see a few lighter areas where the substrate is shining through. These areas just need a touch up. Altogether Tilemaster have done a really good job. Coverage is far better than the seemingly small amount of paste suggests. I’ve used the kit a dozen or so times now.
