[QUOTE="Robin G, post: 988439, member: 60721"] We recently finished a bathroom renovation where the two builders who did the bathroom also did all the tiling. When looking over the work at the end of the job it seemed generally ok, but we found some things we weren't happy with like an extractor fan that wasn't flush to the wall by almost 1cm on one corner that they insisted was fine. However, looking over the bathroom in more detail now that they've left we've been finding a lot of bits of the tiling job that seem to be poorly done, such as tiles sitting way above the trim, cracks in the grout all around the window and the new built-in toilet they made, tiles to the side of the bath sitting in front of the bath edge on one edge and behind it on the other end, many uneven tiles, and generally messy grouting in a lot of places. I'm not sure if we're being too fussy about the final result though or if they should have done a better job. Would be great to get some advice/opinions to see whether it's worth bringing it up with them.
