HI
A great site to learn so many tips guys
First time poster so be kind:smilewinkgrin:

I am moving my CH pump from below my first floor bathroom so I had a crazy idea to tile floor at same time. Bathroom is small (3sq metres) and most floorboards have been replaced by TG chipboard,I plan to put in extra noggins and my main question is do I lay 12mm plywood on top ? if so I only bond sides and under? if so what bonding do I use? and I screw it down at regular intervals 150mm apart using 25mm screws?

Or do I lay hardieboards or marmox down and tape over joins? So confused as read so many different views

I intend to use Bal products for the grouting and laying.
Tiles are basic ceramic 33cm x 33cm

Regards
richard
