Discuss Plumber upgrading from 30 yr old Rubi TS-40 in the Tiling Tools area at TilersForums.com.
I had a rubi tx 700 for long time and sold it and bought a sigma 3c3m . What i found annoying is why didn't i do it soonersecond hand rubi tx 700 ...if youve used rubi a long time the sigma will be annoying
I’ve tried offering the tiles up, like I’d been taught all those moons ago, but I keep getting them wedged in the ceiling.Maybe we should do some kind of poll, who offers and who measures?
I measure 90% of time and transfer it the the Sigma ruler.
Jimny- how do you work out where to cut your tiles?
If you measure your tiles then a Monty or sigma will definitely be a good option. If you only ever offer up the tile and mark it then a Rubi might be better.
Not an exact science, just my thoughts.
''Plumber'' and ''tight for cash'' in the same sentence.....got to be a wind up????
Sigma 3c3m
Haha.. what do you do then? Hit them hard??
