Where to get a bench for my wet saw

Hey all i was just wondering what you use for a bench for ur wet saws? I usually use the customers wheelie bin and level the saw with an old broken spirit level but i was wondering what or where to get a bench for indoors? Cheers:smilewinkgrin:

get two tressels from b and q and a piece of plywood to go on top,job done.

tressels are around £10 each.

tiles are just getting bigger and bigger these days, a table is no good half the time as the overhang needs supporting, ijust use mine on the floor.

i have one of those youngman hop ups,
i basically measured the outside area of the youngman,got a bit of ply and some 2x1 and battened the 2x1 to the ply.

now i have a "table top" i put on my youngman when needed!!

it works a treat and is easy to carry as it locks on to my hop up!!!

ill take some photos later!

Dagger tbh with you i use one of those little platforms for my dry cutter..i lay the box ontop of platform and the cutter on top of that for the height.not that im a giant or anything but it saves the old back.

got mine on a Workmate - when you take the cutter off you can use it like a ..... eeerrrrrm ... like a Workmate! :hurray:

you can get cheepo Workmate copies now. Also got a set of 4 quick adjust G clamps from Screwfix, you can clamp your tiles down and nibble and drill them easy - cant do that too easy with an ally bench.

is there only me who prefers to work at floor height? just find it better and more suitable. how do you lot cut 600mm tiles etc resting on a table etc. my tile cutters have little add ons that you can rest the tiles on while you cut them.

if you see on the side of the tx 1200 sean, there's two sets of outriggers, (only one set on the 700) these support the tiles as you cut them

i whent in to taylor tiles in swansea today, they sell raimondo tools from italy, i like there grout floats made out of neoprene there great., anywaythey didnt have any and on my way out i noticed a dry cutter and did a double take it must have been 2,5m long!!!!! if thats the cutter im not stopping to see the tiles mate.
