Discuss tiles over tiles with thin adhesive suggesetions? in the The Welcome Forum area at TilersForums.com.

600 x 600 tiles over 600x600 tiles. Lower tiles solid.
WHY is 10 mm of adhesive recommended.
I've seen tiles in my house with almost no adhesive underneath and they have been down 40 years.
Now I want to put tiles on top of textured tiles (which get dirty too easily) (don't want to remove as they are solidly stuck)

need thin 3 mm of adhesive to align with next room tiles.
