This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love.

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them..:smilewinkgrin:.

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

obviously the levels have gone out slightly, using a laser level would help prevent this. i just use a fat max to level the battens ensuring they're spot on before tiling

Mike what is a good laser level to get at reasonable price for walls and floors?

i don't know off hand, i'm sure someone will help you on here. as i said , i just use a fat max, 4foot or 6 foot. they work spot on for me.

I did use a 4ft fat max level and im sure it was spot on strange?

Thanks Mike,just one question one of the tiles did not match up to the other tile on the grout line its above the door you cant see it in the pic but why is that all the rest do, is it because the wall runs out like wallpaper so you put the wall paper cut behind the door for instance.

It could be as you said or did you cut all the cuts above the architrave the same and the architrave was out of level ?

Laser levels are great but I only use them for setting out. I then place markers on the wall and work to pencil lines.

I had a full tile at the edge of the door frame and followed it up and then cut the rest across top of door frame but every other tile matched up apart from one i should of taken a photo to show you, maybe the architrave was out.

Just a WC for a Swedish woman who had a strange idea on tiles. 2 Bathrooms and WC all the same.

Another couple of stone jobs..

Chinese M/coloured slate and some wooden travertine in a kitchen strummer fitted.

Slate was sealed with Mattstone .. quite a nice selection of colours in it from PHG stone.

Forgot to say.. slate is laid random set... customer didn't want a brick pattern in a small room.. i prefer it this way anyway.. less in ya face so to speak.

I agree Dave, brick bond can be a bit boring, I like third bond, or quarter bond.

First time i have used Chinese coloured in ages Phil.. Slate does seem to be coming back..

got some pics of splash backs to put on as well.. peeps will think all i do is stone..:lol:

As promised some pics of the bathroom in the same house of the slate job i posted back a page.

Ivory travertine with Walnut travertine brick in-set panels..

Bathroom was fitted by Strummer.
