Just wondering if people use the official brand screws for backer board/ no more ply or their own from a place like toolstation? many thanks

I've a bit of a small dilemma, ran out of screws for my no more ply boards and I've 4 sheets to put down can anyone recommend a good substitute 25 mm screw for the job, going into plywood ! Cheers

Hi I've only seen specific branded screws in 30+mm for Hardibacker boards, but they seem a bit long for some installations. However, some other basic screws don't always seem to finish flush on the surface. Am I missing a trick here? Should any screws really suffice? Cheers

if a floor is the same level throughout, but is half floorboards and half concrete, is it acceptable to screw 6mm hardibaker to the floorboards but just stick them to the concrete with tile adhesive? . . . or is adhesive alone not enough?

well the floor is laid as best as possible, not having the pleasure of my bath sink or toilet removed prior to board laying i had to do the best that i could plus also the walls not perfectly straight, i used plenty of of mega adhesive and screws my question is the screws i cannot get perfectly...
