Hi guys,

Can anyone feedback on ULTRA progrip HG ready mixed 10lt 15kg tub adhesive please.

I have a tiler who used it for porcelain 100x100 (although it does say porcelain mosaics in their literature), and could pull the tile off the wall with his fingers. no initial grab. He wasnt exactly confident to carry on using it!

Anyone else feeback on it?

The manufacturers of these tubs of ready mix say they can fix all kinds of things with it, but porcelain is a no no, as are mosaics.
It dries having the moisture in the adhesive absorb into the tiles and the substrate (thing you're fixing it too).
So this adhesive will never properly adhere to porcelain, cement based products find that job hard enough without polymers.
This will take forever to dry. I'd skip this adhesive and buy a decent cement based adhesive that was probably cheaper in the first place.

I used it to try and tile the top of a concrete garden table I had made, using Victorian reclaimed tiles. As it claims to be fast and super grip, as well as suitable for showers, etc, I thought it would be perfect. I put it on in September, and have had to take the tiles off today before they washed off and smashed, 5 months later. The so called adhesive is wetter than when I put it on. No drying whatsoever. Apart from its initial cost I wasted a long time on fitting them, pointlessly grouping them, cleaning up the residue which has washed off onto my patio, and having to rewash countless clothes when I have rubbed up against them. It is an totally useless product. It does not do what it says on the "tin" and is not fit for purpose. I intend complaining to Trading Standards.

100% not suitable for what you have used it for. Exterior use ?
