Hi all,
Not long in the trade so I have still a lot to learn and as they say if you don’t ask
you will never know, and have used the good advise seen in the forums before.
I have just quoted for kitchen splash backs, where the walls have been reskimed
(nice new plaster) but the units were installed 3 months ago. I noticed the wall
behind the hob under the extractor is covered in grease spots.
I would have previously PVA the walls (as told was the best way) but after reading the articles on primer verses PVA , I am now changing over to a primer.
If I just scrape the wall first and remove any foreign bodies then prime over
am I likely to have any problems with adhesion.
All advice greatly appreciated.
