Gypsum and anhydrite contain no silica at all. The sand used to make the screed may contain small amounts i guess but not in great volumes. I would always recomend wearing a dust mask when sanding the surface of any material thag may create airborne dust though. Why do you ask?

Cheers Alan. I just have one to sand in January, wondered about m class dust extraction for hand held grinder thats all.

Yeah I have seen them, been around a while, good in theory but means getting out your vac every time. I mix outside most of the time

Same here I mix outside all the time, I’m thinking of getting one as my pop up tent got destroyed the other week and it would be cheaper/quick fix for now
