I'm after some advice on how to build in expansion gaps for my kitchen floor.
The floor is 8sqm, and my current plan is as follows -
leave a 5 - 10mm perimeter at all areas where floor meets walls.
But what do I do with this gap? Do I put some special tape in it to stop thermal bridging or...

Hi all - greeting from Sweden.
I'm working on a project right now - rebuilding my "uteroom" - an outdoor room that we use for 1-3 seasons. The room itself is dry - walls on all four sides and a roof - One wall is the back of our house, one wall is our neighbor's uterum, one wall is...

We're in the process of renovating our kitchen and have chosen these tiles in 600mm square size: stonesuperstore.co.uk/p-357-black-starlight-quartz-tiles.aspx
I phoned to order them today and was advised we shouldn't use them with underfloor heating which has rather messed up our plans...

Hi Guys,
Bit of advice, had a job when the customer wants over 65m2 of Porcelain laid into a garage floor, not a drama but what would you say about laying electric heating mesh under the whole lot? Is that likely to be a nightmare? Only ever done small areas?
