Hello good people, as the title suggests, I'm looking for advise on Sandstone sealer, got a customer who wants the whole of their down stairs tiled in 22mm thick sandstone, I've done one room and I used lithofin stain stop as per what their tech dept instructed, but the customer isn't happy with amount of marks being left on the stone due to the kids and dogs messing around on it, I'm assuming if anything will give a better level of resistance it's going to be a topical sealer that creates a film on the surface? Not really had much to do with sandstone indoors so hoping one of you knowledgeable people will be able to point me I the right direction, as their another 70 odd m2 of it to go down in the spring and I want to make sure she is going to be happy with the finish before I start the rest.

The stainstop isnt the issue Andy, it's doing exactly what it should be, it's more the sand stone it's self, scuff marks etc on the light stone that is the issue hence why I thought a sealer that sits on top rather than soaks in my help
I reckon you're right about a topical sealer . Have you had the instruction of "I don't want a shiny floor"
