Just looking in to what everybody likes in the way of SLC for a standard concrete/screeded solid floor (no UFH) we have been using the sealocrete stuff from Selco, it's not bad but it's certainly not great - just what you could expect for about 12 quid a bag I suppose. Is there much difference...

Just wondering how we all get over this. Wetroom floor with flush shower former, electric underfloor heating throughout. Do you stop the slc at the start of the former and then freehand the envelope cuts down to the gully or do you do it another way?

Don't level over this much so just wondering how many bags of Slc will I need to level over ufh mat on insulation boards? Going to use tilemaster leveller for the job. Also will 10mm marmox stuck to floorboards and screwed be sufficient strength wise?

how much pressure is used when using the roller to remove air from the slc? is it a soft roll on the surface or do you go straight down? cheers
