Hello looking for a bit of advice. I’m planning on doing a splash back above my sink. So far I have the tiles and trim. Was wondering what’s the best adhesive and grout to use as there is glass tiles on the mosaic sheet and I’ve also heard that the tiles need treated with something after the tiles are on and grout has dried etc if you could recommend what I use. Would I cut and fit the trim to the wall before I put tiles onto wall, or would I put tiles onto wall then place cut pieces of trim in behind the tiles. Thanks

I would recommend using the trim, the reason is so you don't see the edge of the mosaic, and use light grey or white grout. Also if its a stone mosaic, put the preservative protective liquid on the mosaic first, before grouting...to protect the stone colour, this is very important otherwise you will discolour the mosaics natural colour.

It’s a little bit late for that, tiles are on wall with no trim and all grouted with limestone coloured grout. I think it looks more natural without trim tbh. My original choice was to use trim but someone mentioned here they’d recommend without, I’m glad I took there advice. I think it looks good. I’m only looking for bit of advice to clean the white stone mosaic because I never knew to use preservative protective liquid before hand
