I fixed some honed and polished sandstone from lapicida for a client once. When I checked the crate it had foam between the slabs which had left lines all over the tiles which did not come off. Tried all sorts to remove them. Lapicida were contacted and refused to help in anyway shape or form...
Re: - Advice
Could it be from metal garden furniture rusting. Only asking as I have just laid stone on my patio and I have stains similar only on Indian stone
Got to seal them with ltp mattstone. The sheets are all the same pattern so just wasn't sure to line a thick one next to a thin one or if it will look better totally random
It's an entrance to a dentists. They are like a solid mosaic but some tiles are ten mm and some are 20mm on the same sheet so they are stepped.no joints as its a feature wall 1m x2.2m
They are 600x150 strips stuck together solid with different thicknesses. There from mrs stone website I would post a link but don't know how to.Stepped Slate Wall Cladding Panel Brazilian Black 600x150 | MO060 | Products | Mrs Stone Store
Anyone on here fitted this? It's the one with staggered joints. Do you half bond the next course or use the off cut as the next course. Customer wasnt sure so I thought I would ask on here. Any advice would be welcome as I'm starting job tomorrow night cheers
Can't say for sure but looks like the tiles have been dot and dabbed and not back skimmed. Where it's dark is where the adhesive has bled through. Back skimming the tile would have probably solved this
I used to use these all the time. Try a company in sandbach Cheshire called anchorite. I used to work for them and they may have some in the yard. It's a long shot but may be worth a try
There will be no one on site until you lay some tiles and nip off for a drink. Come back and all the tiles have been walked on but none of them have done it
Off away Friday mate but will deffo keep you in mind. Had a few tilers let me down before Xmas so could do with a decent contact. Could you pm me your number for future ref cheers
Got a job to do next week approx 200 sqm over terazzo. Just wondering what you would do prep wise. I was going to slurry coat 1 part primer,1 part water and flexi addy. Bal want me to grind it all down but i think its a bit overkill. your opinions would be appreciated thanks
