Evening all,

I've got a job coming up soon in a bathroom, wall to ceiling around the bath then half way on remaining walls.
The tiles are 600x600 porcelain 9mm thick and the substrate is skimmed plaster board.

I'm looking for advice on what adhesive to use, I usually use kerakoll biogel no limits would this be OK to use or should I look at something else?

Also regarding trim would 10mm be OK or should I go for 12.5?

First time fitting porcelain tiles of this size on walls so any advice or tips would be much appreciated,

Thanks in advance

Yes that adhesive will be fine, would need to prime the walls first, would have been advisable not to skim first as going to be touching the weight limit. Have attached a chart for future reference on weights onto different substrates.

Thanks Kieron, yes I'll be priming aswel, the bathroom was already skimmed and painted but I've removed all the paint.

The weight I have been worrying about as one tile weighs just over 7kg not too sure of what it is per m2 but think it might be over the 20kg limit. I'll have a chat with them see if they want to change the tiles.

Thanks again
