Tiler - Poor Job or?

Hi,

I’m just after some advice from you professionals if you can help?

Ive recently hired a tiler to do some tiling in the kitchen, mid-wall tiles and the floor. It’s only a small kitchen and the quote was £300.

Id just like your help and feedback on how the tiler has done. I’m by far, no means a DIY’er but to me the job he did seemed poor.

He also didn’t fit any tiles under the washing machine (which is not integrated).

Here’s some from this afternoon, it looks like the floor tiles have move and cracked or been placed unevenly.
The cuts on the wall tiles look poor and the grouting needs filling?
Is this repairable?

He has said he is returning tomorrow after I’ve highlighted the issues. Sadly I’ve paid already.

Not in my eyes no. Never ever pay before completion and satisfaction

You need to express your concerns and a full refund and compensation to put it right imho.

Oh my word I dont know how these people get any work at all.
That is about as bad as it gets.
As said full refund, its a rip out and start again im afraid
never pay any money up front and dont pay until your happy
