Okay progress has been good (albeit a little slow) and now I am left with a few problem areas.

The wife wants a tiled bath panel which I have never done before. Is it easy to do? How do you get access behind the panel after tiling?

I want to leave it right to the very end so that I can see if all the plumbing under the bath works. Is that allowed? I can tile the floor up to under the bath panel and come back to the bath panel later. I am guessing I should leave any tiles that are around the bath panel till later as well?

Does this all sound reasonable?

Thanks

When I've done it before, I cut a section of backer board out and tile direct to that. Rather than grouting up the tiles which sit on that panel, I silicone the panel in with a colour matching silicone. So if you ever need to access the panel, you just cut the silicone out with a stanley knife and then re-silicone when you're done. Some others on here may have a better suggestion of how to do it, but doing it this way means you dont have screw caps showing on the bath panel.
