Bal is the best available round here for me. I would love to give some of these others a go though.

Mapei only - that includes tub adhesives, cement based adhesives, grouts & silicones.
Have tried others, in my opinion they are the best. Good on price from my suppiler, cheaper than some other brands from other suppliers - such as Granfix & Ultra.

Tub adhesive is very high grab, no need for battens - no need to prime walls.
Cement based adhesives - easy to mix, even by hand, no lumps. No need to prime most floors except for new screeds & Anhydrite.
Grouts are lovely to use & easy to clean off, fantastic range of colours.
Silicone - colour co-ordinationg across the range of grouts.

Adhesive Prices as follows :
Mapeigrip D1 - ready mixed - High grab, standard adhesive , £6.46 plus VAT
Mapeigrip D2 - ready mixed - High grab, suitable for showers, £8.47 plus VAT
Keraquick grey - cement based, flexible, rapid setting, £11.03 plus VAT
Keraquick white - as grey, but in White colour, £15.36 plus VAT

PLUS MANY, MANY, MANY more types suitable for ALL applications
:) :) Great

You are best off phoning Mapei UK - Birmingham number, they should be able to point u in right direction.

Tile Giant here in the Midlands has just taken over 'right price tiles'. They will be stocking mapei from now on, with a decent trade discount apparantly....

Might give it a look....

I still like me granfix though :)

Granfix for me, wouldn't mind giving this mapei a go though after reading Leatherface reply.

I used PCI grout for the first time the other day - new tile shop swore it was the dogs for flexi floors etc. And the customer had specified he wanted it. Not happy about not using me own gear....

Guess what - I have had my first call back. Grout is cracking.

Used Granfix on 3 tile repairs upstairs in the same house on boards. Low and behold, no cracks.

PCI - Absolute utter crap. Very dissapointed.

From Dunlop to PCI

From Crap to even Crapper - won't be buying anything off them then

I've been using BAL for a while, you just can't beat the quality and the range.

I strongly advise against using Dunlop Floor Adhesive, I don't know whether I was just unlucky with the batch I used, but I had to re-do quite a few tiles- very fun I can assure you. :)
