Hi folks.

Very useful forum. A quick question from an amateur tiler; when you put up a shower curtain rail/rod, where do you line it up in relation to the bath?

Thanks,

Ed.

Directly over the edge, make sure the curtain is long enough to hang inside the bath or the pole is low enough for the curtain to hang inside the bath! Either or!

I normally set it 2m to 2.1m from ground level (depending on bath & curtain) & flush with the outside of the bath. Let's the curtain droop in & gives you more elbow room. Any lower & curtain lies in the bath & stains fast.

As Bubblecraft says above, flush with the outside of the bath, just gives you a few more inches elbow room to stop that cold wet curtain from clinging to you whilst you shower!, again, do make sure that there is enough curtain to hang easily inside the bath but not so low as it touches the bottom.
