This is the new Tilers Showcase Forum where we want new tiling work added, with each tiling job you complete having a thread of its own so people can see what kind of work you do, and potential customers can find your work

I thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to all members of Tilers forums to show us any work that they do.

Be it from installing a kitchen to garden decking. Show us your work! Get those pictures taken, but then do something with them! Actually add them to a thread and some facebook groups with your website link in them etc and it'll help spread the tile love.

If you have done a job then please do share it with us.

Pics are a MUST as what is the point of sharing a job without them..:smilewinkgrin:.

So if you do a job and you take a few pics then please do share it with us.

Lets make it a big thread for all to view and input in.

I do the real stuff too. In fact I did 400 sq of sandstone last year and about 200 sq between trav and porc. I also did about 350 sq of oak too. I do a lot better with Karndean & Amtico.

marble job was last month pool was a little older but i have plenty completed how do i enter pics for potm?

Pic size limit is 2400x1200 and file size for Jpegs is 1200000 bytes.

Ours is called JOTM ( Job of the month) and has been going since 2009.. POTM is a recent added one i have noticed on another forum..

JOTM is held in the tilers arms each month and each job must have been from the month it is entered and proof is required, either in the form of pic date stamp or a daily newspaper in one of the pic showing the date..

The almost identical colour match, you don't get that with pre-formed....... and it's how I would have done it too.

had to get the trowels out this past few weeks:mad2:,this weeks job was overdrawing a bigish ceiling re boarding and drylining walls and skimming,just me and a labourer,all downstairs and extention to do,im gutted,me shoulders were killing after that ceiling,and i hate the job,im working for a right moaning old .
some pics of ceiling,dident have the camera until dinner so none of doing it,but pics of 1st and 2nd coats+laying down then troweling up of most walls:smilewinkgrin:

finished this today nightmare uncalibrated slate 20x30 random bond

Now i do like a random set floor... takes your eyes off the joints and you get more drawn into the stone.. and nice floor it is too,.

really nice floor.......whats with the really light colour tile in the top right hand corner....looks a bit out of place compared to the colour of the others.
