Can I use patio cleaner to get this stuff off?

Water splashing on slate floor has water marked it.
What is the best treatment for a bathroom slate floor?

Yes I didn't read the bottle entirely but the tile shop recommended it.

I think patio cleaners tend to just be acid of varying strengths. I think for this you'll need Lithofin Stain Away. If memory serves right it'll eat through layers of sealer.

Lithofin wax off to strip the patio and remove all the slate seal. As with external use impregnators or colour enhancers only in bathroom / wet room as they will also turn white with water ,moisture contamination, this whitening is none cured , dead seal we will. Need to lift it. Should not have been recommended for this area.

You will generally get 2-3 Sqm per litre to lift this, test first ,1 litre to get per sqmpl

Lithofin stain away , best stripper ever, like all the great products, we had to stop making it 6 years ago, I have two rusty tins left , but there mullard!!! Technical term

Sorry bob, didn't read it properly , I would leave to dry for min 5-7 days after stripping and then , seal with your chosen impregnator, or you could use a colour enhancing impregnator , no topical finishers in these areas.

Bob (lithofin bob) could he use nitromors? I believe you can still buy the proper stuff from trade outlets ie not b&q etc.

Thanks guys, I've used wax off to remove the original slate seal and is now a clean slate although the chalky residue remains.

I believe I need Lithofin stain stop as a sealer but what about colour enhancement?

My Lithofin leaflet says "enhancing colour structure with gloss not suitable for polished surfaces" It says slate seal is suitable for this, as I already have some it would seem a good idea but I'm not keen to use it again.

I'm worried when the stain stop drys the floor with have lost its sheen.

Hi bob
Slate seal cannot be used externally or internally in wet area or bathrooms
What's the Sqm of the floor and how much wax off did you use?

Probably 2.5 sqm, i brushed neat wax off on the floor and scrubbed and sponged and wet vac'ed it off, its risned really well.

What is stale seal for then Bob? The tile shop should have told me its not suitable for bathroom floor, then again I didn't read tin properly.
