and yes, I see all the manufacturers responding.
hard life in the laboratory.
you should perhaps go out of the office and go to work sites.
something is always learned.
and now, it's cold ... better to stay in the office.

I looked into this a while back. Ones I've had experience in.........

BAL Tank It, no effect on weight limit
Ardex WPC, no effect on weight limit
BAL WP1, reduces max weight limit to 32kg's per sqm.
There were a couple more but can't find the replies.

Got more suppliers I can speak to. will try and rustle up a list if it helps.

Interesting thread on liquid membrane.
If im not boarding the walls, i insist on the builder leaving them as they are, no skim or jointing tape, just bare plaster. i use a liquid membrane and corner taps, pipe collars etc...
i worked in Norway for a while, all bathrooms i worked on were finished with plasterboard and tanked with liquid - schoenox was the brand we used. very thick but brilliant to work with, even tanked inside the plasterboard box section that was to house the geberit frame for toilets and basins. No cowboys out there, bathroom specs are controlled by the insurance companies. No ticket....no tanking!!
