Hi, not sure if this is the correct area to post this: I'm new to this forum and Tiling as a whole, I have recently taken the decision to complete a tile training course with a view to run my own business.

I have completed a training course with UK Pro tiling and have the certs, I am booked on a course with Schutler this month

I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be happy for me to work alongside them for one week to gain more hands on experience and gain further knowledge by simply watching an expert. Therefore what I have to offer is free labour for this week, I have all my own tools and am happy to either just watch, labour or anything that will gain me more knowledge.

My previous job was as a Sales Director in the construction industry, I'm 55 years old and live in Stoke On Trent, ST7, happy to meet prior to agreeing anything to ensure both parties are happy.I have my own vehicle and will meet on site and will ensure no sign writing and plain uniform.

I know this may well be a long shot and some people will not want to work with someone new to the trade and pass on their experience, but I'm hoping there is someone who would be happy to mentor me for a week

Many thanks in advance

Nigel Jones
