I'd use 10-15mm wide tape. I'm pretty certain air can get caught under the tape when you pour the slc if it's too wide. You simply take a strip about 5 cm long, or which seems to be sufficiently long, and tape the wire down. The wire shouldn't "rise" anywhere, so you probably need to space the tape fairly tightly, ie 10-20cm or so, depending on the wire.
