Hi. About to lay ditra matting over cement board substrate. The Ditra handbook states use a 6mm x 5mm trowel. I have a 6x6 trowel. Is this likely to cause a problem?
Also they state use a thin set mortar.....
S2 flexible adhesive should be ok shouldn’t it?
Thanks all

I use a schluter trowel that is 4x4 for ditra25 and 6x6 for ditra heat mat then use the flat edge of trowel to bed the mat in or if it’s a large area I use a roller
