I know there is a few good plumbers on our forum, so I thought I would ask this question.

Whats the difference between the yellow map-pro, and blue propaine gas canisters

Thanks.

Mapp burns hotter, so say there is still a little water in the pipe, you can use mapp and still get the pipe to solder but Mapp can burn too hot in everyday use (when no water is present) so if you're not careful you can over cook the joint and then the solder won't take.

Use the Blue (which was black up until recently) for everyday then if you have a problem joint because of slight water you can't shift, reach for the yellow
