One Day

I'm just after info...
How many times in the past 12 months have you come across failed floors?
By this I mean de-bonded due to whatever reasons. Anhydrite / spot-fixing / heating issues etc.

Seems to be an increasing problem. I've had calls out to look at 6 absolute howlers in the past 12 months.
Always lovely looking floors with a MASSIVE cost attached to ripping out and correcting.
For instance - 80sqm of 900x900 porcelain at around £4000 but then the kitchen, islands, everything would need to come out and be reinstalled. Marble tops on the islands would likely break etc etc so potential bill of £20k plus to correct a loose floor.

So ideally I'd like to know how many you've come across and what the approx value would be of correcting them?

Yes I am up to something.
Sorry, can't say more yet!

Thanks!

Two recently , one just bad fixing technique , two tile replacement . Another substrate settlement crack transferred through to tiles, that could of been bad if tiles werent available . Two tiles to lift in the near future on a floor with random cracked tiles, no pattern or continuous lines of cracks , they sound like they are fixed well so this could be a head scratcher .
