Hi folks
I'm getting limestone cladding applied to an external wall and I need to make a choice on adhesive. The company supplying the cladding suggest Ardex X7G Plus. The guy doing the work suggested Kerakoll H40 gel S2.
This is going on an external wall that has soil behind it so although it hasn't ever shown signs of damp coming through, I'd still prefer to have something that can cope with the potential for some dampness. It's also quite exposed so will get lots of wind and rain. Part of the wall is exposed brick, the other part was previously plastered and painted but has been scored deep with a grinder to ensure good grip.
Any advice from the pros here?
