    Recommend Shower Room Substrate

Got a small walk in shower to rip out and re tile and was curious to know if there would be advantages to using a cement hardie type board instead of moisture resistant plaster board? I'm assuming both would require tanking, weight/type of tiles to be used currently unknown.

    what do you recommend.

I'm looking to buy a 110v SDS drill for drilling and striping tiles of walls/floors and just wondering what you would recommend. I'm looking to spend between £200-£300. Maybe a mikita or dewalt but what model would be best.
