ive always thought its better to glue and screw hardi backer boards down when over laying chip board, but it seems hardi recommend only screwing, why is this , does cement based adhesive react with the chip board ? or is there another reason im unaware of

A quick one, Looked at a job yesterday, been prepped already 'floor boards, hardibacker and topped with UFH'.
Theres a slight dip in the middle of floor, no bounce, just a dip.
Is it possible to apply weber floor flex over the lot to level it out? Only approx 4mm dip.

Tried to find some data but can't find much. Can they be used as insulation boards? I know that marmox boards can be used specifically for this purpose but wasn't sure about the hardi's.

I have never been a fond lover of this product as compared to alternative products it is heavier awkward to cut and because of these reasons I havent used it...
