On envelope cuts you need to remove an amount of the tile. Usually 3mm, which is the thickness of a cutting blade. This then allows the use of a3 mm spacer, when the tile is set in place.

I have one . But not selling it! I use it on metros, just for a laugh :D

Hi Neat idea. But most built in mixers I fit, come like yours, but ready done. Grohe, geberitt and viega all make "I boxes " where the mixer is within a waterproof housing and then a gasket is fitted before tiling and a neoprene seal on the reverse of the shower chrome trim.

It's so difficult to value a used sigma cutter. As few come up for sale second hand. That tells a story . If you own one, you don't want to sell it! If you kept it for 3 years and looked after it, I bet you would sell it for 80% of its purchase cost. Or more!

I have the proxxon saw. Didn't know they did one. Good find.

Only problem with the electric saws is when it flicks the off cut out like a bullet! Shame you can't get a thin grinder disc in one.?

They will be the pins that locate the tilting table to the main body of the saw. It sould be set just slightly higher than the main body. I never used the fence as I liked to use the adjustable square and fix the small fence to that. This was set square to the blade.

wonder if this will appear on this side of the pond? And if it's any good! Bet the blades don't last long.

Tried it this morning. Not that impressed tbh! With the cutting action being in reverse , the dust collection is amazing . Even better if you put a peice of sacrificial plasterboard underneath. There is no depth adjustment so you need to hang over the edge if something. The machine is very well...

It's arrived. Not bad, two days. Has come in a Festool box and a decent blade too. Will be trying it out tomorrow.

Amazingly I have one of those! Allan gave me one to try on some 25mm mistral resin worktop. ( it clogged up) but will try out on some tiles.
