    Storms anyone?

I read about the predicted storms this week, apparently the Met Office said there was "cause for concern" and potentially a months worth of rain expected to fall during a 48hr period. So far all I've seen are a few minutes of rain. Has anyone else had major storms?

    BSI spread weight ratio

I have copies of spread weight ratios, but none with any "creditable sources" mine are just plain paper with lists of substrates and weight limits. I need to supply a printed copy to my customer and I was wondering if anyone had an official copy from somewhere like BSI that they could email me?

    a little brain teaser....

Can anyone shed any light on this.... I've been told that the waterproof matting takes on the same spread/weight ratio as the surface it's being fixed to. ie. if its fixed to plasterboard it becomes 32kg/m2, and if it's fixed to plaster it becomes 20kg/m2 Obviously taking into account that...

    Efflorescence

Hi, I had a problem with efflorescence in a BAL superlex wide joint grout back in December 2008. The whole 54m floor area was affected in a new build. It was cold and I'm pretty confident (it was a long while ago) that I would've explained my concerns to the customer at the time but he wanted...

    Workwear

I'm currently in the process of updating my workwear and I'm looking at options for personalisation, either embroidery or screen printing my logo onto shirts/jackets. This got me thinking how many others out there do this. Most of the "tilers" I come into contact with at the local stores...

    Rubi diamond blades?

Hi I've been trying to track down a new 115mm Rubi CSV Diamond blade. I've used these blades for a few years now and they are excellent, but seem to be difficult to buy in the Essex area. The last one I got came via Topps, but that still took a few weeks to get hold of. I've tried...
