Hi all

I am new to this so apologies if I have posted in the wrong place!

I am currently do a Little DIY tiling, which I enjoy.

My day job is in a rather precarious position due to what’s going on In the world, and I am looking at a change of career be it possibly part time initially In tiling.

Can you recommend any courses, I keep coming across UK Pro Tiling. Any feedback/ help would be appreciated.

UK Pro Tiling Training have been around for years and are brilliant. They sponsor us, so to be fair, Able Skills down south, and Construction Skills College in Stoke on Trent are also good too. Also been around ages.

UK Pro Tiling Training only do tiling though, so they're very focused on that. You can read feedback on the forum from 2009 to now. That's how long they've been going. Never any poor feedback. Can help you go via NVQ if that's the route you eventually want. But can also help you setup as a new tiling business and show you which jobs you want to take on and which might be too big until you've got your feet settled.

Any huge jobs you get you can share with another tiler perhaps, and end up with a working relationship with a more established business local to you and end up learning a few things whilst also passing them some of the bigger stuff in return.

Speak to Darren there. Say Dan sent you from the forum. An awesome guy, so full of energy.

Hi, I've also been looking at going on a course, but I'm based in Glasgow. I know there's one in Edinburgh but not sure how good it is. Do you have any feedback from there. Thanks John
