hi, after a quick bit of help. have a 27 square metre floor in kitchen and utility to do. floor is t & g floorboards onto joists. very solid and cant feel any deflection. advised customer of need to overboard anyway but an wondering whether 18mm ply prior to tiling or 12mm ply then 6mm...

thanks for all replies, just an update, removed trim and tiles and replaced. customer asked why and i explained what i'd found. couldnt have thanked me more and said that although they hadnt seen it yet they would have checked everything as soon as i finished in detail and would have found it...
