Can't beat an early finish on a Friday! Alabasta Snow 600x600 from Topps. Floor levelled with weber floor flex and fixed with weber set spf. Sealed with MPG and grouted with Micromax gunmetal.

A few mild days and nights last week allowed me to get this step done. Levelled and tiled the next day. Nothing exciting But I know everyone loves pics:thumbsup:

The picture (if attached!) is of Bal micromax smoke. Looks quite light in the bag but dries darker.

Will check regarding frost resistance. There is a picture of them installed externally but I suppose I shouldn't take this for granted. How cold is too cold for installation, the Stonefix leveller I'm planning on using states 5c, I presume it's similar for the adhesive but will check.

1st experience of tiling outside. Only a 1m2 porch, it's covered but still open to the elements. Customer has purchased black and white chequered mosaics from Topps. Any suggestions on how to get a soild bed fixing with full coverage on mosaic sheets? Plan on using a standard rapid set flexible...

Have a customer insisting on beige floor grout. What are your guys opinions on the best sealer to use to try and minimise any discolouration. Cheers Pete

As above. The cement board is glued as well as screwed to fill any voids between the board and the ply.

The wrong sealer has been used as mentioned above, and I'm not sure they need sealing anyway. There are products that will strip the old sealer such as LTP Solvex, however this is the tilers problem and he should resolve it.

You're right, Mapei is a popular choice. Do you have Tile Giant store near you? They stock Mapei and will point you in the right direction. Priming the floor is recommended with Primer G before tiling. Are you planning on installing underfloor heating?
