why are round notched trowels not easy to buy? - Tile Advice

Everywhere i go seems to have only square notch trowels. I want to use a round notched 8mm trowel to lay insulation board and a 10mm one to lay tiles (managed to get the 10mm) but the 8 is proving very hard to find!

any reason?

should i just use a square notch? pros cons?

B&Q do a 8mm Ragni but it's more slotted rather than square notches....

i never look at sheds any more so thanks for the heads up,

that should be ok for my insulation boards.
