What’s this floor - Tile Advice

Customer sent this. Just need to know what floor it is and best. Should I slurry mix over it if it’s bitchumen. Was previously lino down.

No they just want the floor tiling as they say it’s gonna be for tenants.

If it's asphalt then it be 20mm thick and would be the damp proof membrane, bitumen would need a primer and self leveling.

I would say a one time the floor had Marley type tiles fitted the floor needs a through clean and sealing with the appropriate primer then a SLC adding before tiling can be done get the toilet pan removed while the work is done . Kop
