My brother has one of these he uses for polishing the edges of porcelain and bullnosing stone. After this you just need a velcro pad and a set of diamond polishing pads and you're away. A good low price entry level machine for dry diamond polishing. The page says 'out of stock' but I've seen them in store.

It is very underpowered, cant see it lasting a week on some heavy duty work.
One of the two reviews says it packed up after a year.

I noticed that. All I can say is my bro has been using it on & off for a couple of years for the odd bullnose with no probs. I use the larger Makita myself but I'm aware of the price difference. As I said purely for entry level.

Have Makita version, use for polishing, still going strong after 4 years. Worth investing a bit more for good quality

Halfords have something very similar but you have to use both hands which isnt practical when cutting tiles etc. My variable speed grinder is made by Metabo and can use with one hand and isnt too big. Got a polished travertine floor to do soon so looking forward to using a lambs wool pad with it!
