I've often toyed with the idea if convincing @Dan to send all the admin & mods there as a yearly treat and offset it on the tax return but I think I already know what the answer would be!

Seriously though, I look into it every year. Supposed to be a great night

why is it £175 a ticket though?......... I have been to some big do's and they haven't cost anywhere near this - plus the night is sponsored....

I have absolutely no idea and to be honest I've never thought about it. Probably to make a healthy profit I would imagine

Yes I slept in my van on the promenade a few years ago when doing a job in Braintree! Had a mid week Sunday dinner for £6 in a pub one night - couldn’t face booking into a B&B for 6 hours sleep, so kipped down for free under the sea front street lights. Also safer for my tools!

I have to admit Ray, thats a good way to compare things! Was there this time last year myself. Hard to beat it especially this time of year
