Hi lads and lasses
Quick question, can I leave tanked bathroom walls around bath un- tiled for a couple of wks/ month, or should it be tiled over straight away. Haven't applied the tanking yet, but want to get it done this wk end; But my fixer is away on hols till end of next month. Doesn't say on instructions if it can be left un- tiled just says you can tile over it after 24hrs. I wont be using the shower in that period, just shallow baths.

Who’s the manufacturer of the tanking system and was there a Classi seal used?
I dont know what a classi seal is sorry, and the tanking kit is ultra tilefix proshield tanking kit, it says no primer needed, I haven't used it yet, just in case it has to be tiled over straight away. Skimmed plaster board walls, not newly skimmed though.

Just looked online and no classi seal was used, the plumber who fitted the bath just put silicone around the edges

So it’s a paint on tanking system?
No primer and onto skimmed plasterboard!
