Tiling floor / Radiator valves - Tile Advice

As many here aware, in order to re-tile a floor properly you often need to remove radiators - and not just radiators but valves. In order to remove valves you need to drain the whole system. What are likely costs of such work? How do you normally deal with this? Of course, in the end this is customer's decision, but how often you would just tile around the pipes?

All depends on the client mate. If they are Happy to pay for the additional labour, I'll do it and I'll charge them what a plumber would.

If it's complicated, I'll get my plumber mate to do it and I pay him.

Usually however, they are happy to just have the grout line behind the pipework. Also, you can get the caps which squeeze over the pipe and then leave a nice clean finish and so you don't end up seeing the cut bit anyway.
