Tiled Bathroom Worktop - Tile Advice

A new one for me, and i have been dreading it. Tilling a bathroom worktop, To be precise three bathroom worktops all with mosaics. I have never been asked to do this before, I'm guessing it can't be too difficult (I hope ), my plan is to fit 18mm ply and then hardi over the top. Then prime and tile. Is this how you would all go about doing this too? Has anyone got any pictures of any they have previously done? I will be much happier once this job is out the way, 900x300 tiles on the walls aswell, just to make it even better

Yes, your plan sounds fine. But what is going on the worktops? Are basins being mounted in/ on them? Is it in or near a splash zone?

Yes, your plan sounds fine. But what is going on the worktops? Are basins being mounted in/ on them? Is it in or near a splash zone?

There are going to be sinks on two of the worktops and nothing on the other one

Yeh will be rolling the edges. Was planning on doing the top and then tile edges and secure with tape. Going to be a horrible job!

I usually get excited over things like this. Makes a change from run if the mill tiling.
