tile spacers for my new tiles - Tile Advice

Hello everyone,
I am thinking of re-doing the tiles my living room. I've got 600x300 tiles and I'd like to know if it's acceptable to use 4mm tile spacers. I read some of the previous threads and noticed that most people prefer to use 3mm spacers for floor tiles, so I am starting to think that I might have to get rid of the 4mm ones. My tiles are not rectified, by the way.

With a non rectified tile the grout joints can appear wider. Go with 3mm

As plan tec,use a 2 or 3 mm, with non rectified your tile may have a slight bevel on the edge , so it widens the joint, so with a 4mm it could go to nearly 6mm in some cases

Thank you, Plan Tec and widler. Yes, I agree. If the tile's edges are chamfered, rounded, etc, the grout joint can look even bigger. Mine are not but I will take your advice and go with 3mm spacers. And out of curiosity, is there anything wrong with using 4mm spacers if the tiles allow it?
