Customer asked me today if it was ok to use a steam mop on a tiled porcelain floor...
Anyone know...??

I always advise against it and believe grout manufactures say no and the guarantee is void if one is used

As above. Tiles will be fine, grout will break down and crack over time. Also if you have a stain block or anti mould agent in it, they get destroyed almost instantly.

Aren't they a problem with polished porcelain as they remove any sealer that is put on the tiles that seal off the pores that were opened up during the polishing process
