Hi I am attempting my first tiling job. I have 8mm porcelain tiles and it is a wetroom so I have waterproofed the area with waterproofing tape. Where the tape is stuck on the wall with tile adhesive, it slightly protrudes from the wall surface meaning when I am laying the floor tiles along the wall edge, it is not flush with the wall.

I understand with ceramic tiles you can just use a tile file to shave out a little where these tapes fall but is there an equivalent tool for porcelain tiles? I tried using the tile file and it barely made a scratch.

Thanks in advance!
