I have just started using the Rubi dv 200 cutter and it works really well however I felt I needed a line at the back of the machine.
I bought the Rubi laser and fitted it as per the instructions. However when I retract the cutting head fully the blade cover hits the body of the laser.
There is room to fit it further back but the standard mounting does not support that?

Any suggestions?

I was thinking of mounting it on a separate plate to allow this but I am surprised that I would have to do this.

also the flex at the other end of the machine seems to be round the wrong way. It is in front of the measuring guides and could be cut by the blade. It would have to be disconnected and reran through the conduit to alter this. Again any suggestions? Can be tie wrapped out the way but....
