Preping a lino floor for tiling - Tile Advice

I'm not sure the best way to approach this. What's the best way to remove the lino?

Will the leftover glue not cause issues with the tile adhesive?

Floorboards. I guess I remove as much as possible, prime, use S2 adhesive and screws to fit cementboard's and then tile?

What's under the lino? Thin ply ? Just pull the whole thing up if it is.

You didn't mention floor boards bud I would remove the lot and put down no more ply well fixed down bathrooms are never huge so why skimp seal joints prime and your good to tile . Kop

Good point. I've not pulled it up yet.
